Research and Knowledge Transfer
The Centro de Estudos Galegos at Heidelberg University promotes and supports research on Galician language, culture, and society within the international academic community. Its objectives include strengthening the position of Galician studies within German academia and encouraging new research on Galicia.
The CEG supports research in linguistics, sociolinguistics, and cultural studies, particularly through bachelor’s and master’s theses, doctoral projects, and scholarly publications. The centre also encourages participation in conferences and academic events related to Galician language, culture, and literature.
